The Center for Species Survival Brazil was founded as part of a wave of regional hub launches under the Reverse the Red global movement that ignites strategic cooperation and action to ensure the survival of wild species and ecosystems. The CSS Brazil Regional Resource Center capitalizes on the expertise of the IUCN Species Survival Commission network to assist governments, local NGOs, and communities to scale up conservation targets and meet them.
CSS Brazil is a regional resource center of the IUCN SSC in Brazil and in the South American region, empowering conservation efforts through training and support to assess, plan, and act to save species.
